Ms Juchima, an interior designer with a textile design background, said the furniture range offers a perfect combination of functionality and a simple, stylish aesthetic.

“We stock a great range of homewares by wonderful designers such as Marimekko, Iittala, Architectmade and Normann Copenhagen. We also have beautiful floor coverings by Australian company Armadillo & Co,” she said.

The company also sells WEAVE products which are designed in Australia. WEAVE works with artisans and designers to create contemporary embroidered cushions and lush throws.

The Swedish Brita rugs and throws on sale are made exclusively for The Modern Furniture Store.

It also features one of the largest ranges of Marimekko homewares in Australia – everything from stunning fabrics to cups and vases.

“Our Marimeko range is very popular. The vibrancy of the prints really appeals to people,” Ms Juchima said.

“The Finnish company’s joyful prints are carried throughout their homewares. Their pieces are bold and timeless additions to a home.”
