Parking Restrictions Return

Boroondara Council will now be enforcing parking restrictions with an interim period of warnings until the end of January. The council had not been issuing tickets or charging for metres during the pandemic but feel it is now time to return to normal parking conditions. Please check and obey parking signage to avoid future infringements. To comment on this please contact Boroondara Council via boroondara@boroondara.vic.gov.au or call 9278 4444.

Looking to Spend Your Money Locally? We can Help

Many people have come to realise how valuable a good local shopping precinct is. When you are limited to staying local you are lucky if you have a local precinct that has a range of the essential services like doctors, pharmacies, food stores, as well as being able to get the things you need like fresh winter clothes, puzzles and books, shoes for growing kids, a cup of coffee while out on a walk. Camberwell shopping precinct has all these things and more. Our stores are now back and trading again, with many still offering click and collect, online or home delivery options to support our community, and they truly appreciate your support right now as they struggle to remain in business in these difficult conditions. Our traders understand and implement strict safety measures and will be there for you with a smile [under their masks]. They need you to shop with them now however that works best for you. Our directory lists all our stores and services with links to their websites or phone numbers and information, as current as possible, about whether they can offer delivery or easy collect services or their trading hours. If you want them to be there for you tomorrow we need you to be there for them today. To be kept informed about Camberwell shopping precinct we invite you to subscribe to our website to receive a monthly e-newsletter full of the latest, competitions and events [when we can have them again] so you are up to date with what's going on in your local community.

Thank you on behalf of the Camberwell Traders Association
