Visit the iconic art-deco Rivoli Cinema, voted one of the world’s top 10 cinemas, the Camberwell Fresh Food Market, where generations of stallholders have gathered fresh produce and flowers from the wholesale markets, or make your way to the Camberwell Sunday Market, open every Sunday morning. For fresh food we’ve got the big supermarkets including Woolworths and Aldi at Camberwell Central, and a Coles Local and other speciality produce stores in Camberwell Place shopping centre.

The Camberwell Fresh Food Market has operated for more than 85 years, with stallholders bringing quality fruit, vegetables, meat, poultry, seafood and flowers from the wholesale markets straight to you. The market is open every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 7.00am.

The Camberwell Centre Association

The Camberwell Centre Association represents the retail traders and businesses of the Camberwell shopping precinct who contribute to a marketing fund administered by Boroondara Council. The association is run by the trader’s committee and it acts on behalf of traders to make key decisions relating to promoting the shopping precinct, and promoting the interests of members and their customers.

There are more than 400 stores along Burke Road, stretching from Victoria Road to the Camberwell Junction and approx. 300 commercial businesses along Burke Road and the junction in both Camberwell and Riversdale Roads. Bordering the suburbs of Camberwell and East Hawthorn it is one of the largest and most vibrant ‘street shopping centres’ in Victoria.

Camberwell traders appreciate the support from their regular customers and in turn try to give back to the local community through events and assisting charitable organisations.
