Record crowd gathers to celebrate Kylie and Dannii Day in Camberwell Junction

A record crowd gathered at the Rotary Camberwell Sunday Market to mark the third instalment of Kylie and Dannii Day on October 20.

The pop icons were celebrated through a series of acts including lip-sync performances, crowd entertainment, Kylie and Dannii trivia, and a fashion parade.

Entertainers Della Katessen, HollyPop and Brenda Bressed hosted the day, and there was a special performance from Melbourne’s most famous Kylie impersonator, Millie Minogue. DJ Argonaut kept the crowds happy with a continuous flow of Kylie and Dannii songs throughout the event.

Fans of the pop stars were enthusiastic participants on the day, with many dressing up in their favourite Kylie and Dannii outfits.

The famous sisters grew up in Camberwell, attended nearby schools, and now also live in the local area – and their connection to the local area was celebrated at the event.
