Welcome Back Pack: comprehensive guide for retail reopening

To help manage and promote the safe reopening of your businesses, the Australian Retailers Association (ARA) has put together a ‘Welcome Back Pack’ which includes useful information and campaign materials to ensure you’re well prepared for business after lockdown.

Paul Zahra, CEO of Australian Retailers Association, said with COVID here to stay, retailers must embrace the new normal, rather than expecting a return to business as usual.

“Health, safety and hygiene will continue to be priorities – as will vaccinations. This pack includes the key information you need about the state reopening plans, existing government business supports, what the requirements are for vaccinations, guidance from our legal advisors Hitch Advisory along with tips to maximise your trading potential for Christmas,” he said.

The Welcome Back Pack also includes campaign resources, health and safety guidelines, mental health support, and more.

To support businesses as they talk to their customers ahead of the new requirements, the Victorian Government has prepared communications resources.

It includes guides and template for your business and your workers, posters and flyers for display, suggested web copy, and other communication assets.
