Have your say: Developing the Boroondara Reconciliation Strategy

The City of Boroondara is drafting a Reconciliation Strategy to formalise their commitment to reconciliation in Boroondara.

The strategy will include a four-year vision for reconciliation in the municipality and set a clear roadmap for implementing reconciliation initiatives in collaboration with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the broader community.

Reconciliation Australia says that, ‘At its heart, reconciliation is about strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Aboriginal peoples, for the benefit of all Australians.’

They’d like to know why reconciliation in Boroondara is important to you and how they might progress it locally. Your feedback will be considered along with information gathered from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, key stakeholders and service providers.
