Amex grants for small restaurants now open

American Express, in partnership with Mainstreet Australia and the International Downtown Association (IDA) Foundation, is encouraging eligible small restaurants and cafes in Melbourne to apply for the 2025 Amex Backing International Small Restaurants grant program.

This year, the program is once again expanding with 15 grants of AUD $23,000 (USD $15,000) available to small, independently owned restaurants in Melbourne.

Since its launch, the program has awarded over USD $1.8 million to restaurants globally.
