Camberwell’s Christmas Family Day 2018 wrap up
Article posted: December 18, 2018
Thank you to everyone who came down to Camberwell shopping precinct over the weekend to join us for our annual Christmas Family Day.
On Saturday, December 15 hundreds of people gathered in the busy shopping precinct to get into the festive spirit.
The Camberwell traders put on the day as a way to say thank you to visitors and shoppers for supporting the precinct throughout the year and to spread some festive cheer.
There was a range of entertainment on offer including rides through the Camberwell precinct on an antique fire truck with Santa himself.
Shoppers had the chance to get their Christmas shopping done while enjoying the festive atmosphere and activities taking place on the day.
Due to popular demand last year, our festive photo wall returned and gave visitors the chance to grab a Christmas-themed prop, strike a pose and get their photo taken against a bright red festive backdrop. See the full album of photos on our Facebook page.
The Camberwell shopping precinct also had a variety of live entertainment on the day and, of course, the chance to be involved in the community’s favourite Where’s Rudolph? competition.
Thank you, again, for attending and making the Camberwell shopping precinct a thriving local community that we can all be proud of.
Find Rudolph for the chance to win $500
You still have time to enter our popular competition: Where’s Rudolph?
It gives you the chance to win a $500 shopping voucher, plus each other unique reindeer you find gives you one entry in our bonus prize draw.
To be in the draw, you’ll need to find Santa’s reindeer which are hiding around Camberwell.
Look for Rudolph and all of Santa’s reindeer featured on posters in shop windows along Burke Rd and around Camberwell Junction.
Once you’ve found the reindeer, tell us the name of the shop and you can enter as many times as you like, but only each unique reindeer you find will count as an entry.
