Meet the author: Peter FitzSimons

Peter FitzSimons is Australia’s bestselling non‑fiction writer, and is a journalist and columnist for the Sydney Morning Herald and Sun Herald.

Peter is passionate about sharing stories of notable Australians and stirring events in history.

His biographies include Sir Douglas Mawson, Nancy Wake and Nick Farr-Jones. He has also written about Kakoda, Ned Kelly, Gallipolli and Mutiny on the Bounty.

Meet Peter at this event hosted by Dymocks Camberwell, where he will present his latest book The Catalpa Rescue, a true story of one of the most extraordinary and inspirational prison breaks in history.
