Located on Burke Road, 10³ Bakehouse blends traditional baking techniques with modern flavours to create a menu that’s as comforting as it is distinctive. From pillowy-soft shokupan and buttery croissants to flaky pastries, Portuguese egg tarts and handcrafted desserts, everything is baked fresh with care and attention to detail.

The bakery’s name reflects its philosophy of continuous improvement. Just as ten multiplied three times becomes one thousand, the team believes that small improvements, made every day, create extraordinary results over time.

Many of the bakery’s breads are made using long fermentation methods, allowing deeper flavour and a softer texture to develop naturally. By combining premium ingredients with the finesse of Asian baking and classic European techniques, 10³ Bakehouse has quickly earned a loyal following among locals.

One of the bakery’s standout favourites is its signature Taro Mochi Shokupan, filled with handcrafted taro and soft, chewy mochi. Alongside the bakery’s famous shokupan, customers also return for freshly baked croissants, buttery pastries, Portuguese egg tarts and seasonal creations that regularly rotate through the display cabinets.

After beginning as Bake Mania in Balwyn, the business relocated to Camberwell Junction in 2026, making the neighbourhood its flagship home.

“We wanted to become more than just a bakery,” the team says. “A place where neighbours can pick up fresh bread, enjoy a coffee and become part of our daily routine.”

That vision has been warmly embraced by the local community, with many customers discovering the bakery through word of mouth before returning with family and friends.
