The Perfumer’s Secret marks international bestselling author Fiona McIntosh’s 30th novel.
Fiona McIntosh was born in England, spent her childhood in West Africa and has lived in Australia for the last three decades. After a long career in the travel industry, she now writes fulltime, seeking ideas for new stories from all over the world. She writes travel columns, shares her baking recipes, and hosts commercial fiction masterclasses that are celebrating a host of debut writers as a result.
Fiona and her husband, Ian, recently bought a farmhouse in the patchwork fields of the Clare Valley. She looks forward to writing from the solitude of a century old stone barn next year. Fiona’s bestsellers include Fields of Gold, The Lavender Keeper, The French Promise, The Tailor’s Girl, Nightingale and The Last Dance. Earlier this year Fiona released How to Write Your Blockbuster, a practical and inspirational guide on how to become a professional author of genre fiction. She is currently writing and researching her next novel based on her favourite topic, chocolate, which will be released in time for Mother’s Day 2016.
The Perfumer’s Secret is an intoxicating feast for the senses, a highly sensual story of deception, duty and desire from the beloved bestselling author of The Last Dance.
