Camberwell’s sixth instalment of the Dine In Dine Out food fiesta offered visitors a packed program of activities and united the local community.

The winter food and wine event took place on Saturday, August 4 where Camberwell traders put on a lively day of food demonstrations, tastings, entertainment and fun family activities.

This year there were two pop-up spaces for the event – the Evans Place laneway and the Burke Avenue park, located opposite the entrance to The Well shopping centre.

Camberwell Centre Association Manager Kerry Daly said the 2018 Dine In Dine Out event received lots of positive feedback from those who attended.

“As our sixth consecutive year of running Dine In Dine Out, we were really proud to be able to grow this community event with even more activities and free family fun during the day,” she said.

Ms Daly said this year’s event had two busy pop-up parks during the day, fire truck rides, roving entertainers, children’s activities, live music performances, a family day at the Camberwell Fresh Food Market and a great selection of food and beverages from our local traders and visiting suppliers.

“The After Dark Jazz Park, which took place in the evening, was busier than ever with locals happy to cosy up under the heaters to enjoy live music and mulled wine,” she said.

“Thank you to everyone who came to Dine In Dine Out – it wouldn’t be the same without the community support.”
