‘Melbourne Moments’ – Through the Lens Exhibition 2016
Article posted: June 26, 2016
EVENT ENDED: This article is for a past event.
Each year the exhibition unites the exciting work of members of the Camberwell Camera Club with the unique and diverse shops and businesses of Camberwell Junction through the collaborative support of the Camberwell Trader’s Association.
The theme for 2016’s exhibition is “Melbourne Moments”. Whether the image is taken at an iconic Melbourne location (Luna Park, Flinders St Station) or during a private family moment, this exhibition aims to share a collection of moments that together give an insight into what life is like in this wonderful city.
There are more than 100 images to discover as you explore the exhibition route on both sides of Camberwell Junction. Each image is accompanied by a few words from the photographer to reveal what made the moment special at the precise moment they pressed the shutter to capture the image.
From 2 – 31 July, 2016, the images are on view day and night, 7 days a week, in the windows of participating shops on Camberwell and Riversdale Roads. Whether you come to shop, enjoy a meal or watch a movie, be sure to take in this year’s Through the Lens photographic exhibition too!
You can view the full Exhibition Viewing Guide online here and explore the images street-by-street.
