Introducing Johnny’s Ice Cream in Camberwell Junction

Travel back in time with this 50s diner-style ice creamery. You step into Johnny’s Ice Cream and instantly feel like you’re in a movie. The store is decked out with vintage-looking accents and neon lights, and pastel booths that are perfect for snapping Instagrammable pics.

Beyond its gorgeous looks, Johnny’s Ice Cream serves up some of the most delicious ice cream. Each flavour is crafted in small batches with the finest ingredients, where you get to choose from classic and unique options. Simon, the owner, loves the boysenberry ripple the most, but says that the best-selling flavours are salted caramel and Ferrero Rocher. The ice cream recipe is home-made and uses natural ingredients with no artificial colouring or flavours.

There is a wide selection of other treats, including caramel corn, sundaes, milkshakes, thickshakes, waffles and lava cake. They even have the rare Dippin’ Dots ice cream, shipped all the way from the US, made fresh with liquid nitrogen.

Conveniently situated right next to Camberwell train station, Johnny’s Ice Cream is the perfect place to visit for a sweet treat.
