Help shape the future of Camberwell Junction shopping precinct
October 8, 2021
Boroondara Council is enhancing the area’s public spaces through placemaking, with a project currently underway to revitalise the Camberwell Junction shopping precinct for the enjoyment and wellbeing of our community.
Placemaking works best when the community and council collaborate to co-design places, by developing a deep understanding of what is important about a place, what makes it unique and how it could be improved. To achieve this, we want to meet with people who play an important role in the local community.
As a business owner/operator in the Camberwell Junction shopping precinct, your participation in the workshop will be valued. Each interactive workshop is designed to:
- Give you an overview of placemaking and the steps that will guide improvements around the Camberwell Junction precinct
- Understand what you value about the area and what makes it tick/special or unique
- Give us an opportunity to listen to your ideas for improving Camberwell Junction
- Outline the community engagement and the ways that you and the wider community can be involved in the placemaking process.
You are invited to choose a workshop time that best suits you. Each session will be the same.
