What’s New: July 2014

So it’s a bit cold outside, you don’t have to stay home, come along to Camberwell for some fun activities we have planned this winter. This week free school holiday workshops continue in The Well, Wednesday to Friday. Learn how to make healthy snacks for your lunch box.

We are also excited to work again with Camberwell Camera Club to exhibit their stunning photographs in shop windows along Riverdale and Camberwell Roads at the junction. To make it more fun you can collect a quiz trail card from Degani or from our website and maybe win a prize. If you submit your quiz on the first day – July 19 there is a bonus prize on offer!

Dymocks have some great author events here in Camberwell and the iconic John Williamson is presenting his autobiography, over drinks at Ebony Quill café and performing as our launch event for Dine In Dine Out 2014.

‘DIDO’ is designed to celebrate our food traders and create a community event for Camberwell.

We hope you will join us for the Food Fiesta weekend, there will be food tastings and entertainment in our Burke Avenue marquee and jazz after dark. So put on a coat and get outside and join in the fun this winter at Camberwell.

Dine In Dine Out celebrates the fantastic cafes, restaurants and fresh food offer in Camberwell throughout August.

Dine In Dine Out weekend Food Fiesta 2014 takes place in the fiesta marquee in the Burke Avenue car park in Camberwell.

From 10am to 4pm, August 2 & 3 the fiesta marquee will feature free samples and tasting plates for sale from a range of Camberwell’s fresh food and dining retailers as well as free kid’s activities and other entertainment.

On Saturday August 2 we re-open from 6pm to 10pm as DIDO After-Dark, a licensed venue showcasing the best of Camberwell’s wine, beer cider and fine dining. DIDO After-Dark will feature a live jazz band, jazz party DJs and dancing!!
