But at the Christmas Family Day, Camberwell Junction is set to take Christmas to a whole new level!
From 11am- 3pm on Saturday, December 9, Camberwell Junction shopping precinct will be packed with free Christmas fun for the whole family.
There will be roving entertainers, balloon modellers who know all the best Christmas creations, and craft activities to delight and inspire the littlies.
Grown-ups can embrace the Christmas spirit with live cooking demonstrations at Camberwell Fresh Food Market and tick off gifts from their shopping lists – all this while enjoying festive music performed by live musicians.
In breaking news, we’ve just had confirmation from the North Pole that Santa will be taking time out of his busy schedule to drop by and greet all the good little boys and girls of Camberwell Junction. Santa’s told us he loves a selfie, so be sure to bring your best poses for a happy snap.
Make sure you have this year’s (free!) family Christmas photo taken at the festive photo wall near the Camberwell Fresh Food Market. Hint: selfies with pets encouraged; matching Christmas family outfits strongly encouraged.

Where’s Rudolph?
He’s the most famous reindeer in the world, known for his shiny red nose and guiding Santa on those foggy Christmas Eves, and this Christmas, Rudolph will be all over Camberwell Junction. What’s more, if you find him, you’ll go into the draw to win a prize that will make for the most merry of Christmases!
Navigational abilities aside, Rudolph is also known for his playfulness, and this Christmas season, he’s set up a game at Camberwell Junction that will bring joy to all the children and parents.
Here’s how it works: Rudolph and his reindeer mates will appear on posters in shop windows across the shopping precinct. All you need to do is find them, scan the QR code, and answer the simple question to go into the draw to win a $500 shopping voucher! Rudolph isn’t alone, every unique reindeer is one valid entry.
