This traditional produce market has operated in Camberwell for over 85 years. Stallholders bring produce from the wholesale markets to you, including meat, poultry, fruit and vegetables, seafood, deli, nuts, flowers, shoe repair, and cafes. You can also find specialty natural skincare products, healthy pet supplies, and shoe repairs.

The market was established in the 1930s where the site was originally a horse carriage factory that later became a produce market, servicing the market growers of the area. Many stallholders are second and third-generation family-run businesses and still trade in the traditional style.

Camberwell Fresh Food Market has undergone a transformation with a generous indoor public seating area, upgraded toilet, kids’ play space, and a new Italian cafe offering indoor-outdoor dining. There are also new public setting tables outside on the north entrance so you can grab something fresh and sit and enjoy in the sun.

Weekly, they’ll taste new things, make edible creations, explore seasonality and more; developing and nurturing a positive relationship with the colourful and tasty world of food. In conjunction with the talented team at Nourish Melbourne, the Camberwell Fresh Food Market presents this program FREE for all to attend. Places are limited so it’ll be first in, best dressed. Entry to the Market is via Riversdale Road or the Marketplace car park off Station Street.
